Our Faith: The Apostles’ Creed

At Endurance Church, we stand on the timeless truths of the Christian faith, summarized beautifully in the Apostles’ Creed. This historic statement of belief connects us to centuries of believers who have proclaimed the hope and love of Jesus Christ.

 

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.
We worship a God who is all-powerful, all-knowing, and deeply loving. He is the source of all life and the one who lovingly sustains all creation.

 

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord.
Jesus is God’s gift to the world—fully divine and fully human. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He brings salvation and hope to all who believe.

 

Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary.
Jesus’ miraculous birth reminds us that God’s plan is perfect and that His power is greater than anything we can imagine.

 

Suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, died, and was buried.
Jesus endured suffering and death so that we might be forgiven. His sacrifice demonstrates the depth of God’s love for humanity.

 

He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead.
Through His resurrection, Jesus defeated sin and death, offering us eternal life and victory over despair.

 

He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty.
Jesus reigns in glory, interceding for us and preparing a place for all who follow Him.

 

From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead.
We live with hope, knowing Jesus will return to bring justice, restore all things, and welcome His children into everlasting life.

 

I believe in the Holy Spirit.
The Spirit empowers, guides, and comforts us daily, helping us grow in faith, love, and service.

 

The sanctified, universal, and communal body of believers
We are part of a global family of believers, united in Christ, called to love and serve one another.

 

The forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
Through God’s grace, our sins are forgiven, our hope is secure, and our future is eternal.
