The Will of God

Too often, we approach God’s will as though it were a hidden plan we must uncover before we can move forward. Yet Scripture reveals something greater: God’s will is His wise and purposeful desire, flowing from His perfect character and sovereign authority, made fully known in Jesus Christ.

Throughout this yearlong series, Endurance Church will trace the will of God through the whole story of Scripture - from creation, command, covenant, promise, wisdom, and the prophets to the coming of Christ, His cross and resurrection, and the Spirit-empowered life of the Church. Together, we will learn to seek His will through His Word and Spirit, do His will through faithful obedience, and delight in His will because the God who leads us is good.

This journey is about more than finding answers for individual decisions. It is about becoming a people who trust God enough to obey Him even when we do not fully understand what He is doing. Instead of asking only, “God, what is Your will for my life?” we will learn to ask, “God, how does my life fit within Your will?” Our prayer is that God will shape our hearts to trust His will, strengthen us to obey His will, and fill us with His Spirit so that we may embody His will in this generation.
